Celebration of Mavlono’s Day at the Institute of culture and art

At the Tajik start Institute of culture and art named after M. Tursunzoda, was held a cultural event in honor of celebration of Mavlono Jaloliddini Balkhi’s Day, one of the greatest masters of word and an unsurpassed thinker, the brightest star of eastern culture, unique representative of tajik-farsi poetry, literature and world science.

The participants of the event noted, that the rich and valuable heritage left by Jaloliddin Balkhi during 800 hundred is still relevant and important. In fact, it has become even more valuable. And in the difficult age of the clash of civilizations, his creativity, his appeal for tolerance and peaceful coexistence are very valuable.

The event also featured a musical and literature composition, and a concert. Honored Artist of Tajikistan Furkat Saidov, Head of the Vocal training and Piano Department Akram Mirzoev, People’s Singer of Tajikistan Rakhmatullo Khoshimov, People’s Artist of Tajikistan Hosiyat Zarafshoni, Second-year student of the Music and Pedagogic Department Hassan Zoirov performed songs on Mavlono Jaloliddin Balkhi poetry.

A great contribution to this important cultural event was made by the Cultural Worker of Tajikistan, professor of the Department of Theatrical performances and holidays, scriptwriter Safarali Kurbonov, chairman of the Art Council of the Institute, People's Artist of Tajikistan Muhammadjon Shodiev, chief director, Cultural Worker of Tajikistan, Halim Sanginov and music director Muslihiddin Solekhov.
