
The very first meeting of the Archivist coterie was held at the Tajik State Institute of Culture and Art named after M. Tursunzade.
A scientific coterie of teachers and students was created at the Department of Archival Affairs, and they will be getting together once a month.
The Academic Council of the Institute, the dean, teachers and students of the library faculty attended the opening ceremony of the coterie.
The coterie was opened by the head of the Department of Archival Affairs, Candidate of Historical Sciences R. Dzhobirov with his report on the topic of “Historical and Political Foundations of the Formation of Independent Tajikistan”. Later on the other members began a discussion on this topic.
The main point of creating this kind of coteries is to increase the level and quality of teaching, and fulfilling the general knowledge of students.
